Our Story
Roots & Reach Academy was founded by Dr. Megan Pickens, PhD, LPC-S, to create a training home for mental health professionals seeking more than checkbox CEUs. With decades of experience in counseling, teaching, and leadership, Dr. Pickens developed the Roots & Reach™ curriculum to equip professionals with both the technical skills and cultural humility needed for today’s practice.
